The Bank Employees’ Credit Union Co-operative Society Limited offers the Family Indemnity Plan (FIP) to our Members in association with CUNA Caribbean Insurance Society Limited. Access to the FIP Plan is an exclusive benefit of Membership, it is therefore only available to “Active” Members who are saving regularly. The Family Indemnity Plan provides a cash benefit for funeral expenses for you and your family. When you enroll in the Family Indemnity Plan, you pay one rate that covers up to six (6) persons (the member, members’ spouse or significant other, children between 1-25, parents under age 76). You do not need to do any medical examination or answer medical questions. The Family Indemnity Plan has a Six-month Waiting Period during which time a benefit is paid only if death occurs by accident.
